We loved our time in Portugal! The hotels and tours were all excellent. The restaurant in Evora was amazing, and the restaurant in Coimbra was also great. Our tour guides for the Sintra and Cas Cais visit were outstanding – I believe Maria and Pedro. Coimbra was definitely a highlight for us. We suggest you tell others to book a tour of the library in advance as we bought the last 2 tickets for the tour and would have hated to miss it – it was breathtaking. The day of sailing was amazing – our captain and the crew were excellent hosts.

Unfortunately, the rental car experience was not good – we felt rushed when we picked up the car, it did not have a GPS, so we had to rely on a map on my phone, and the circles were confusing. Also, there were a few instances (one hotel and one restaurant) did not have our name for the reservation, but we were able to figure it out by giving them Caramel Trail.

Overall, we had a great time, and the preparations were excellent. Thank you!
