Samuel was born in Madrid, however his heart belongs to the South. He has intensively travel Andalusia and Morocco. His passion for hiking and biking has taken him from Mulhacen to Toubkal.
In 2011 he creates Carameltrail with one purpose, share his passion for travelling with other travelers of the world!

Angela grew up in the Basque Country among rooted traditions and green landscapes! After living in France and long stays in UK she decides to move to Madrid drawn by its cultural scene.

When she is not preparing awesome trips for Carameltrail’s travelers, you will find her in the latest art exhibition at the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao, at the movies in the 1920’s Cinema Doré in Madrid or photographing tiles in the streets of Lisbon.

She is an avid seeker of those hidden corners that make a destination special, don’t worry she will later share them with you…

Paloma is Carameltrail’s Operation Manager and thanks to her thorough work every trip goes beyond perfect! She pays attention to every detail and foresees our travelers needs to make every trip a unique experience.

She was born in Madrid and her passion for travel has taken her to many corners of the planet from South America to Asia stopping by Europe and Africa.

She is an active mom and climbing with her son and daughter is one of her favorites activities!

I wanted to let them know about the EXCELLENT experience that we had. It all begin with your taking the time to listen to what we were seeking in our trip to Spain and translating those desires into a very workable itinerary. As individuals in our 70’s we prefer to travel at our own pace with an emphasis on experiencing the culture, the people, the art, the history and the food of the area. Your ability to listen and translate what we wanted resulted in our adding an extra city to our itinerary, which turned out to be one of the trip’s highlights—Rhonda was perfect. The drivers that you arranged to meet us at the airport were punctual and very cordial. The guides were very knowledgeable, personable spoke English well and provided us with the flexibility we required both in the pace of the day and the ability to augment our city tours to address our new found interests. The hotels were perfectly located to allow us to visit the city sites on our own, during our free days, while meeting our criteria for four star accommodations. The recommendation list for where to eat in each city was most appreciated and zeroed in our our food preferences and price point. When we had an issue that required us to have a wheelchair in order to conduct one of the city tours you were “Johnny on the spot” and we were able to continue with our itinerary as planned.
